Its chemical formula is [R-(R*,R*)]N-[1-(hydroxymethyl)-2-hydroxy-2-[4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]ethyl]-2,2 -Dichloroacetamide, easily soluble in dimethylformamide, slightly soluble in absolute ethanol, slightly soluble in water.
