5. In vivo research: Due to its hydrophobicity and large molecular weight, the absorption of dietary coenzyme Q10 is slow and limited. In the case of dietary supplements, the solubilized coenzyme Q10 formulation showed enhanced bioavailability. Tmax is about 6 hours, and the elimination half-life is about 33 hours. The reference interval of plasma coenzyme Q10 is 0.40-1.91mM in healthy subjects. With coenzyme Q10 supplements, there is a reasonable correlation between the increase in plasma coenzyme Q10 and the intake dose, up to a certain point.
